Washington Township Water was founded in 1964 by local residents to fill the need for an adequate supply of water. Originally serving less than 200 Members we now provide service to nearly 1500 Households and Businesses.
Our Water Company is a Member owned not for profit cooperative. We are regulated by the Indiana Regulatory Commission and all rates and charges are approved by the Commission.
The Service area was originally just in Northern Monroe County but we now also serve Southern Morgan County.
In 2014 our Corporation converted into an Authority, and we are now Washington Township Water Authority |
